From idea to a considered plan

Give the whole piece
room to work.

For a custom or larger tattoo, sharing the overall idea helps the studio discuss scale, placement and the way the composition can fit the body.

01

Share the direction

Describe the subject, mood or meaning. References can show what you like without needing to define the design.

02

Plan placement and scale

Note the body area and approximate size. The artist can discuss how the design may sit and move with that placement.

03

Review the project

The studio can discuss a design approach, estimate, timing and any session planning before confirming an appointment.

How tattoo deposits work

Tattoo deposits are applied to the tattoo’s final cost. The studio will confirm the deposit amount, payment method and rescheduling terms before payment.

Questions about custom work

Do I need a finished design before I request a session?

No. A rough idea and a few references are enough to start a conversation. The design direction can be discussed with the artist.

What should I include for a large tattoo?

Share the subject, placement, approximate size, any reference images and your preferred timing. If the project may need more than one session, mention the full scope.

Is the deposit included in the final tattoo price?

Yes. Tattoo deposits are applied to the tattoo’s final cost. Confirm the amount and payment terms with the studio before paying.
